I’m tired of thinking about all the crap going on with Michael Vick, Michael Strahan, Jamarcus Russell, and the 900 other things around the league today, so I’m going to take a novel approach. I’m gonna talk about football. I may do an indepth, team by team look at each division later, but for now this will have to suffice. These are my predictions and a blurb. Keep in mind, I use the word “predictions” very loosely as I am rarely wrong about these things, but I do reserve the right to change my “predictions” as the season progresses. Enjoy …or not!
NFC East
1. Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles are still good and if McNabb stays on the field, they will win this division. McNabb is the key, ’cause A.J. Feely ain’t do’in it!
2. The New York Football Giants
The Giants are very talented , but Tom Coughlin is an idiot from old times and he will stress the entire city out by midseason.
3. Dallas Cowboys
Again, a lot of talent, but the “soft-nosed” Wade Phillips will have the inmates running the asylum in no time. Romo will be guilted into looking for T.O. on every pass play and T.O. will drop most of them.
4. Washington Redskins
The Baltimore Orioles of the NFL. They have some talent that they payed way too much for and, …well you know the rest.
NFC South
1. New Orleans Saints
High powered offense and improved defense. They will win this division again unless Coach Payton gets too cute with play calling like he did in the NFC title game last January.
2. Carolina Panthers
Solid team, but David Carr will be the starting QB by midseason. They will beat up on the Falcons and Bucs to be second in the division this year.
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs have gotten younger on defense, but they still have issues at QB. Evident by the fact they are still trying to get Jake Plummer out of retirement.
4. Atlanta Falcons
What a train wreck this season will be. Poor Bobby Petrino. They keep telling themselves that Joey Harrington is the man. Well, …good luck with that!!
NFC North
1. Chicago Bears
Way overrated. Grossman will drive Chicagoans to drink…more, but who else in the division is solid on both sides of the ball?
2. Green Bay Packers
Younger and pretty talented. Much improved defense, but…wait for it…Favre is done. He’ll have way more interceptions than touchdowns again.
3. Detriot Lions
The Lions should be a fun team to watch. They have to be better, but remember Matt Millen is still in charge. QB will be the problem in Mike Martz’s offense. Kitna is O.K., but not what is needed.
4. Minnesota Vikings
Young and talented, however, too young at too many key positions.
NFC West
1. San Francisco 49ers
Young, talented, and well coached. Reason for 49er fans to be excited again.
2. Arizona Cardinals
The sexy pick every year it seems, but always a disappointment. They have a lot of offense, but …whatever!
3. Seattle Seahawks
Once again, very overrated. They’re good, but not like everyone thinks. They will finish here.
4. St. Louis Rams
The Rams will be better, but will not improve enough to get out of the cellar this year.
Well there you have the NFC. Stay tuned for the AFC tomorrow, and my prediction for the winner of it all. When I unveil it, you can all run to Vegas and thank me later. BBFN. Blog Blog For Now.

3Jason, You make a good point about Favre doesn’t have the cast around him to win enough. The Bears should be able to muddle through enough games to win the division. They won’t go any further than the first round though. Thanks for the comment.
