“Good Match-ups” Part Deux

Since yesterday’s entry was so perfect, I thought I would go ahead and bless you some more with my insight. It’s just the kind of guy I am!! Enjoy.

The Ravens @ Cincinnati
The Ravens are my pick to win the Super Bowl, so I can’t exactly pick against ‘em here. Steve McNair has another year under his belt in Brian Billick’s offense and the “D” should to be as tenacious as ever. The Bengals are going to be great on offense, but not as strong on defense as they were even last year. The Ravens will win this game relatively easily.

The Giants @ The Dallas Cowboys
Who knows what’s going to happen with either of these teams. They both have “wacko” coach/team chemistry. If Eli Manning has a breakout year and Tom Coughlin doesn’t spontaneously combust the Giants can be real good. The Cowboys can be good if Wade Phillips doesn’t screw things up and Tony Romo throws the ball to T.O. on every down, … and if a frog had wings, he wouldn’t bump his butt when he hopped. You can’t figure this game in week 1, so I say the “pokes” win it by a hair.
