As you might know, I was totally distracted when I made my picks last week. That can be the only explanation for my 9-7 record. It certainly wasn’t my fault.

So here is the first half of this weeks picks. Enjoy!!

The Jaguars will bounce back and beat the Falcons at home. Jacksonville’s defense can’t be that bad again. Can it??

Pittsburgh SteelersThe Bills invade the ketchup stadium to play the Steelers. “Big Ben” will work ‘em over pretty good. The Black and Gold win this one handily.

Is this the week Brady Quinn starts getting his butt handed to him?? The Bengals go flying by the Browns in Cleveland.

Green Bay and the Giants will go scoreless in regulation, but the Packers will win it on penalty kicks.

Carolina PanthersThe Texans travel to Carolina to face the Panthers. Jake Delhomme will continue his inspired play to beat the Texans in a close one. At the end of the game Houston will ask for David Carr back.

Peyton Manning returns to “Old Rocky Top” to play the Titans. Okay, it’s not in Knoxville, but I guarantee you someone will be singing that ridiculous song. The Colts will gash Tennessee on all sides of the ball to go 2-0.

The Saints will rebound to beat the Buccaneers in Tampa. Drew Brees and co. like the big boat in the end zone and will spend a lot of time there. San Francisco 49ers

A young 49ers team will have a mild let down after their very physical game with the Cardinals last week. Marc Bulger and the Rams will get back on track at home and score too many points for Alex Smith and the boys to keep up.

Check back later for the rest of my picks. I’m soooo on a roll!!!
