This week I’m going 14-0 baby!!
Let’s start with Houston at Atlanta. The Texans will rebound this week and beat the Falcons in a very good game. I don’t know why, but I think Joey Harrington will rise above, well, …being Joey Harrington and have another good game and make it close.
The Jets will even their record at 2-2 against the Bills. Buffalo just can’t get out of their own way and will remain winless.
The Rams go to Dallas and extend their run of butt whoopins’ to 4. Tony Romo will torch St. Louis’ secondary for the Cowboy’s fourth win of the season.
Well, it finally happened. “Wrecks” Grossman is out as the Bear’s quarterback and Brian Griese is in. Thank goodness this all happened during a week they play the Lions and not a team with a good defense. Griese will look better than he is and the Bear’s fans will fall in love with him, …for a week, at least. Bears win it in a close one.
The Raiders at the Dolphins. Dante Culpepper vs. Trent Green. Wow!!! A couple of years ago this game would have had us all excited. Now, we’re just trying to decide who sucks less. The Raiders win this week’s pillow fight 12-10 in 8 overtimes.
The Packers go up to Minnesota to kill the Vikings. The Vikes are a mess and Brett Favre and company are not. This is one game that won’t be close.
The Baltimore Ravens will get on track this week and spank the Brownsin Cleveland. The calls for Brady Quinn will start again this week in earnest. UGH!!!
The 49ers will beat the Seahawks this week at home. The game will be low scoring and ugly, but 3-1 is 3-1!!
Tampa Bay travels up to Charlotte to play the Panthers. I think the Buccaneers will beat the Panthers in a very entertaining game, 24-17.
The Steelers go out to the desert to fly with the Cardinals. I’m not sure how good the Steelers are yet, but I do know that they are better than Arizona. Matt Leinart says the Cards are his team, but I’m not totally convinced that the coaching staff agrees. Pittsburgh wins this one big.
The Broncos finally get to play one of the “elite” teams in the AFC this week when they go to Indianapolis, …and it won’t be pretty. I believe that Denver is one of the most overrated teams so far this season. The Colts will have their way at home and beat the Broncos handily.
After a couple of bad road games, the Chargers get to play at home against a really crappy Chiefs team. What a Country!!! Rivers and Tomlinson get to kiss and make up while thumping the Chiefs mercilessly.
Philadelphia at the New York Giants will actually be a pretty good game. Donovan McNabb will continue to improve and the Giants defense still isn’t very good. Eli Manning will have another good outing, but it still won’t matter much. The Eagles will prove to be too much.
The Patriots take their 38 points into Cincinnati Monday night. I can’t believe that the Bengals are going to start the season 1-3, but it’s gonna happen and with the Ravens and Steelers ahead of them in the standings it may already be over for them.
And There You Have It!!! Man, am I incredible. Enjoy your weekend everybody. I’ll blog at you again later.

1The bright side to this weeks games is that the Saints won’t get whipped. I shouldn’t talk trash being a Texan/Giants fan. Hey look David Carr may be starting for Carolina.

25-8 going into monday night… nice picks. Do me a favor and add your picks with the line and I’ll bet against every pick you make next week.

335-27 for the season so far. Even with the crappy week that makes me 8 games above .500 there Sparky!! But, by all means, pick against me. I guess you had the Cards beating the Steelers and the Chiefs beating the Chargers at home. Just kidding about the Sparky thing.
