Pay attention everyone. These next seven picks will be the Bee’s Knees!! Relax and enjoy!!
Tennessee at Tampa Bay
As I said last week, the Titans are a very solid football team. The Buccaneers have injury problems all over the place and are completely unsettled at the running back position. Tennessee will be good more consistently than the Bucs and will win this game. The Buccaneers should keep it close at home though.
Washington at Green Bay
This is one of the most intriguing games of the week. If Brett Favre plays like he did in the second half against the Bears last week the Redskins will win the game easily. However, if he shows the patience and decision making that got them to 4-0, the Packers will win the game. So, where does that leave us?? Well, it’s hard for me to pick the young QB on the road against the grizzled veteran, but that’s exactly what I’m going to do. The Redskins, like the Bears, will find a way to steal this game, 20-17.
Carolina at Arizona
Curt Warner is now the man in Arizona and Vinny Testaverde is now the man in Carolina. OMG!!! Can that be right??? Are You Kidding Me?? He’s been there a couple of days and their talking about him starting. No way the Panthers overcome this. The Cardinals win big at home.
New England at Dallas
Now for the biggie. The Patriots travel to the Big “D” or should I say the Big “I” to play the Cowboys. The Patriots are 0-4 in Dallas since the 1970s. …Could there be a more stupid stat?? However, that’s what a lot of people are using to justify the Cowboy’s chances to win this game. …OH, WHATEVER!!! The Pats will continue to roll and win this one rather handily.
Oakland at San Diego
The Chargers seem to have righted the ship, …at least a little. It should be enough to get them by the Raiders at home. However, Norv Turner is still the coach in San Diego, which is a great equalizer for any opponent. I don’t think he’ll screw this up that bad though. The Chargers will win in a reasonably close game.
New Orleans at Seattle
I’m officially done picking the Saints. Until they show some life, they will remain underdogs for the rest of the season, as far as I’m concerned. The Seahawks aren’t all that and a bag of chips, but they are at home and I’m sure it will be raining. Seattle wins this one, 27-17.
The New York Giants at Atlanta
The Monday nighter has the makings of a stinker. Of course, I said that about last week’s game and it turned out to be a nailbiter. However, Tony Romo is still a Cowboy, so I don’t anticipate 5 interceptions and a fumble out of the quarterback position on either side. Neither Eli Manning nor Joey Harrington/Byron Leftwich is capable of that, are they?? Anyway, the Giants have been better of late and the Falcons are falling apart at the seams, so I’ll take the G-men to win it easily.
Well, there you have it. Stay tuned for more great blog posts coming shortly. Have a great weekend everyone and happy blogging.

1The Monday night game isn’t any more of a stinker game than the Sunday night game. By the way who even watches these 2 teams….

2I have lost all confidence in the Saints and Sean Payton as well. I hope things turn around.

4The Saints looked better, but Payton’s play calling is still bad. In the second half with a big lead, the Saints needed the clock to run and he called three passing plays that were incomplete and about 15 seconds ran off the clock. It’s that stuff that makes me crazy.
