Over the next couple of days I’ll give my take on the good, the bad, and the ridiculous from week 6 in the NFL. Now, on with the show.
The Good
Man, …the Patriots are good. A slight understatement there I know. Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth, and Wes Welker, Oh Yeah, and Tom Brady are just unstoppable. Also, if you’ve read this blog very much, you will know that I’m not a big fan of Bill Belichick. Having said that, Wade Phillips is an idiot for being upset that the Patriots scored a touchdown late in the game on Sunday. In case he’s forgotten, Phillips is the one who called a time out with 1:35 left in the game to get the ball back to try to win, so why should the Patriots not go for the jugular to end it. Grow up Wade, this isn’t little league where everyone has to leave with their feelings in tact.
Adrian Peterson is a man. The third best offensive production from a player in NFL history. Think about that!! Did I mention he’s a rookie?? I guess the injury that kept everyone from drafting him is OK, huh???
The Jaguars seem to be happy with their quarterback decision and are playing as well as anyone right now, while the San Diego Chargers are back to being themselves. Norv Turner started giving the ball to LT again and they started winning. I’ll be darned!! Who knew???
Come back tomorrow for the BAD!! Have a good day!!

1New England with actual receivers including a Randy Moss with a good attitude is going to be awfully tough to beat.
San Diego better get their butt in gear.

2What did you mean by Adrian having the 3rd best offensive production in one game in history?

3Peterson’s 361 all purpose yards was the 3rd most in an NFL game by one player ever (rushing, receiving, kick returns). Source Vikings.com
