Here are the first half of my picks for week 7. Enjoy.

Washington Redskins NFL footballArizona at Washington
The Cardinals go to DC to take on Jason Campbell and the Redskins. The ‘Skins are tough at home and Arizona is banged up. Washington will win this game, 17-10.

Atlanta at New Orleans
Well, the Saints showed some life in Seattle Sunday night, but I’m still scared to death to pick them to beat anybody at home. The Falcons are likely to let Joe Horn talk them into playing with some emotion in his return to the Dome. However, Joey Harrington has been benched in favor of Byron Leftwich. It won’t matter though, Leftwich is every bit as bad as Harrington. The Saints will win in a much closer game than it should be.

Baltimore at Buffalo
The Ravens haven’t been impressive at all this year while the Bills haven’t been any good this year. I take the Ravens on the road in this one, but the Bills will keep it respectable.

Dallas Cowboys NFL FootballMinnesota at Dallas
The Cowboys defense will be tested by the Viking’s new stud Adrian Peterson. Tony Romo and Co. will be ready and the ‘Boys will score just enough to escape with the win at home.

New England at Miami
The Patriots will beat the Dolphins, but the question is, by how much?? I think Belichick will take his foot off the gas peddle for a week and not run the score up. 28-10 sounds about right. …Right??

San Francisco at The New York Giants
The 49ers travel cross country this week to play the Giants in the Meadowlands. I was high on the young talent of the 49ers earlier this year, but they have fizzled in recent weeks. I think the streaking Giants will continue to roll and 23-10 will be the score.

Detriot Lions NFL FootballTampa Bay at Detriot
The Buccaneers have been playing pretty well lately considering all of their running backs are hurt. I’m not sure that the newly acquired Michael Bennett will help the running game all that much, but I do know that he will not help stop Jon Kitna and the Lion’s offense. I think this will be one of the better games of the week. In the end, the Lions will prove to be too much for the Bucs.

I’ll be back later with the rest of this weeks picks. Stay Tuned.
