A Pretty Good Week 8!!

I thought week 8 was pretty good overall, however, I do feel the need to send a heartfelt apology from NFL fans here in the States to all those in Europe that watched that crap the NFL sent them. OMG!!! The Giants-Dolphins “thing” was unwatchable. I know!! I tried!! The people in England don’t know any more about “American” football now than they did before the game, because no football was actually played!!! Are You Kidding Me??? The one part I did find amusing was the fan’s reaction to the Giants kneeling down to run the clock out at the end of the game. They boo-ed like crazy, …but isn’t soccer pretty much scoring one goal and then spending the rest of the game running the clock out??

After seeing the Colts play the Panthers and knowing what the Patriots are doing to everybody right now, I would like to reiterate my point that the Pats will beat the Colts by more than 20 in Indianapolis Sunday. So there!!

I was 10-3 with my picks in week 8. I’ll take it, but I think it’s time I finally admit that the Lions are really pretty good. I keep waiting for them to come back to earth, but at this point, I’m not sure they will. The thing that scares me now is a magical run by Brett Favre to the Super Bowl. I don’t think that will happen, but it would kill anything the Lions accomplish this season. Go figure!!

And speaking of Brett Favre, does he like the big stage or what?? The end of the game last night was fun.

The Ram’s offensive lineman Richie Incognito is out for the rest of the year,…but is that his real name??
