After another good week of prognosticating, let’s see how I do this time around. I’ll tell you this, …it’ll be better than that 10-3 junk!!!
Arizona at Tampa Bay
The Cardinals make the long trip over to Tampa to take on the Buccaneers. Both of these teams have had significant injuries in the first half of the season. The Bucs will overcome theirs better this week than the Cards will. I have the Bucs taking this game 17-13.
Carolina at Tennessee
Tha Panthers make the short trip over to Nashville to meet Vince Young and the Titans. As of now, the Panthers don’t know who will play quarterback on Sunday. I don’t know that it matters much. The Titans will win this game by being the more physical team. Mark it down, Tennessee by 4.
Cincinnati at Buffalo
The Bengals travel to the surprising 3-4 Buffalo Bills. The Bengals have underachieved at every turn this season while the Bills have done the opposite. Having said that, I think Cincy will pull it together this weekend and simply score more points with their offense than Buffalo will.
Denver at Detroit
This week I’m back squarely on the Lion’s bandwagon. The Broncos are far too inconsistent to garner any consideration here. Detroit will throw it all over the place and do it even more effectively than Brett Favre did last Monday night. I’ll take the Lions by 10.
Green Bay at Kansas City
The Packers invade Arrowhead Stadium to meet the Chiefs this weekend. I know I sound like I have something against the Chiefs, but I really don’t. I just think they are an awful football team and how they are 4-3 is a mystery to me!! Anyway, the Packers are going to slug the Chiefs in the gut and leave with a healthy 7-1 record.
Jacksonville at New Orleans
The Jaguars stole a game from the Buccaneers last week. Their back-up quarterback did a good job not messing the game up. This week against the Saints, he’ll have to do more than that if they are to have any chance of winning. I don’t think he can go into that building and overcome the “gris-gris”.
I’ll take the Saints in yet another close one.
San Diego at Minnesota
The Chargers have officially hit their stride. The Vikings have no chance in this game and should save everyone the trouble of going. Oh wait, …it’s fun to go to games, nevermind!!
Please come back tomorrow for the rest. Thanks and have a great day!!
