Week 10 seems to lack the star power of week 9, but there are a few good games to look for, so let’s get to it.
Atlanta at Carolina
Both of these teams appear to be a mess. There isn’t a quarterback between ‘em. Joey Harrington and the Falcons take on Vinny Testaverde and the Panthers in an NFC South showdown. …There’s just something wrong with that isn’t there?? I think Steve Smith will get on track and the Panthers will win this game, 17-13.
Minnesota at Green Bay
The Vikings go to the “frozen tundra” of Lambeau Field to take on the Packers. Well, it’s gonna be 49 degrees at game time, so I guess “frozen” is a bit much. Green Bay is a surprising 7-1 and most people’s choice as the second best team in the NFC. I don’t agree, but that’s a topic for another day. The Packers defense will contain Adrian Peterson, at least some, and will win this game at home.
Denver at Kansas City
The Broncos at the Chiefs. This game is very difficult for me, because I think both of these teams are awful. It comes down to who’s less awful. I can’t believe I’m going to do this, but I’m actually going to pick the Chiefs in this one. Like my Browns pick last week, I don’t feel good about it even though I was right.
Buffalo at Miami
Are they kidding?? Is this game going to actually be played?? Surely not. Oh well, I guess I’ll have a guess. The Bills will beat the Dolphins, 1-0 in triple overtime. There!!
St. Louis at New Orleans
Did anyone think the Rams would be this bad?? I can’t believe they’re 0-8. Anyway, they are going to leave the “Big Easy” 0-9 after running into the seriously resurgent Saints. This game could be ugly by halftime.
Cleveland at Pittsburgh
OK, enough with the Browns, the Steelers are going to put the upstarts from Cleveland in their place, at least for a week. …Thank Goodness. I don’t think I can take another week of the talking heads saying how good they are. Give me a break, THEY’RE THE BROWNS!!!
Jacksonville at Tennessee
The Jaguars head to “Music City” to face the Titans. Actually, I think this will be one of the better games of the week. The Titans have been winning by the skin of their teeth lately. I don’t believe they’re really a 6-2 team at this point. I think Vince Young’s shaky play gets them in trouble this week and the Jags bounce back from their butt kicking in New Orleans. The Jags will win this game by 3 on a late field goal.
Please come back tomorrow for the rest of the Picks for week 10. Have a nice day!!

2I know it’s not posted yet, but the game of the week is the Cowboy’s at New York Football Giants. There seems to be a lot a stake on this game, who wins the division, how does Tank Johnson perform, how does the 67 Million Dollar Kid do when he has the sack happy Giants defense all up on his bank account. Lastly do the Giants tank the second half of the season like the past few years. These teams will meet again in the playoffs. Giants win by 4.

3Bryan I think you forget that the giants have no running game and possibly no burress. Which means the ever inconsistent Manning will be throwing to Shockey/Toomer. No way they win. Don’t get me wrong I’m a damn Niners fan (why I dont know) so I hate the Cowboys. But watch out for TO this week he will blow up again.

4Guys, this game is irrelevant. The Saints are back and will roll both of these teams in the playoffs. Having said that, I don’t think the Giants can outscore the ‘boys and I don’t think the Giants “D” can completely shut down the Cowboys offense for 60 minutes.
