Here are the rest of the picks for this week. Enjoy!!
Carolina at Green Bay
The Panthers are now officially a mess!! This is not a good week to go to Green Bay and face the Packers. The weather is going to be good, but the Packers won’t be good hosts. Brett Favre and the boys will pound Carolina into the “frozen tundra”.
New Orleans at Houston
If the Saints offense shows up early, the Texans have no chance. If the Texans throw at Jason David on every down, they will win by 100 points. I think the former is more likely than the latter. That’s fancy talk for I think the Saints will win on the road by 4.
Pittsburgh at the New York Jets
I won’t waste your time talking very much about this game. The Jets have no chance and will be embarrassed at home for the 12th time this season. The Steelers have too much talent all over the field.
Chicago at Seattle
Just when we thought things were getting a little boring in Chicago, …Rex Grossman gets to play quarterback for the Bears again. And of course, the question is, which Rex will show up?? I don’t think it will matter much, since the Seahawks are at home. This will be a low scoring, snoozer of a game that the Seahawks will pull out late.
St. Louis at San Francisco
As of now, I’m in serious negotiations with the NFL to actually cancel this game due to lack of interest. On the off-chance the game is played, I’ll take the Rams to beat Trent Dilfer and the 49ers by the bay. Didn’t Trent Dilfer win a Super Bowl ten or twelve years ago?? I don’t remember.
Washington at Dallas
As my Dad always put it, …The Cowboys are playing the Indians Sunday afternoon. A couple of weeks ago I would have given the Redskins a chance in this game, but since the Patriots beat the crap out of them, they haven’t been the same. The Cowboys will continue to roll and win this game easily!!
New England at Buffalo
Something inside me says the Bills are going to play the game of their lives and win this game. …Are You Kidding Me?? The Patriots lose a game coming off a bye week?? You have more of a chance of seeing an Amish man in Circuit City than you do seeing the Pats lose this game.
Tennessee at Denver
The Titans go to Mile High to face the Broncos. The weather should be good in Denver for the game Monday Night. The question seems to be, …will a quarterback show up for either team?? It’s been a couple of weeks since we saw Vince Young and to be honest, I’m not sure we’ve ever really seen Jay Cutler. I think we can argue that the jury is still out on both of them. In this case, I’ll take Tennessee on the road 17-10.
There you have it!! This week’s fodder. Enjoy and have a great weekend!!

1Tough games to pick this week. Only cause they are all gonna be blowouts. Well maybe not the Niners and Rams. Does that mean I should start GB defense over CHI? I also have a small theory about the Skins. If they just throw to Cooley then good things happen! 3 weeks and what? A total of 4 passes, that is garbage! Give it to the man and they might have a chance.

2Noodle, You’re right about Cooley. To me he is like Dallas Clark. I would definitely start the GB defense. The Rams could actually blow the 9ers out. They have gotten some injured players back over the last few weeks and aren’t nearly as bad as their record suggests. Thanks for the thoughts.

6You should have watched it Mark, it was a good game, Mario had a good game.
Since when could there be a fumble, another team come up with the ball from a pile on and still not get to keep the ball. The officials in that game were horrible.

7Officiating across the board seems very bad this year. Even in wins it’s bad. I don’t know what that’s about.

8Noodle, I don’t understand why the ’skins don’t use Cooley until someone stops him. Your guess is as good as mine.
