Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!! I can’t wait for the turkey, dressing, desserts everywhere, …and bourbon. The last one there is to help get through a holiday with my family. …I mean, we put the “fun” in dysfunctional. Anyway, Here Goes!!
Green Bay at Detroit
In the early game, the Packers travel to Detroit to take on an irritated Jon Kitna and the Lions. After picking the Lions the last couple of weeks, and getting burned I might add, there is no way I’m taking them here. I guess they have a chance, but Brett Favre is on the national stage again. He’ll come up big like he does on Monday nights. The Packers will overcome “bounty”-gate to beat the Lions 24-20.
The New York Jets at Dallas
When the schedules came out, this one looked like a great holiday game. Oh what a difference a couple of months makes. The Jets actually showed some life last week and caught the Steelers sleeping. Since losing to the Patriots, the Cowboys have steamrolled everyone in their path. I look for that to continue here. The Cowboys will kill the J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets 34-10.
Indianapolis at Atlanta
It really doesn’t matter what happens in this game, since no one will get to see it on the NFL Network, but in the interest of filling space, I’ll go ahead and pick it anyway. The Colts are barely able to field a team at this point. I don’t remember a team being this effected by big injuries. The Falcons still don’t know who their quarterback is and it’s week 12. The Falcons have some pretty big injuries themselves and I think Joseph Addai will be able to run all over their front 4. I’ll take the Colts in a close game, 24-20.
Come back to see the rest of the picks for this weekend.

1I heard last night that Harrington will start for the ATL, but does it matter the Colts are pissed and will crush the Falcons.

2Yeah, that’s the way I see it too. The Colts are definitely pissed and the Falcons are a mess.
