First, I would like to send my deepest sympathy and prayers to Sean Taylor’s family, friends, and teammates. It’s hard for me to imagine losing someone close to me at that young an age.
It’s hard to move on from that, but we must. I went 8-5 on my “all home team” picks. Tell me, how many of you had Arizona losing to San Fran, KC losing to Oakland, or the Giants being blown out by the Vikings?? …C’mon. The way I figure it- I was an honorary 11-3, so we’ll go with that.
Just Kidding!!
How weird is it that I really enjoyed the Dolphins-Steelers game last night?? I was pretty impressed with John Beck from Miami. He did as much as anyone could do under those circumstances. The field was great. It made everything equal and we got to enjoy it. You have to admit, there is no way that’s a good game if the weather is pretty.
If A. J. Feeley isn’t a complete “Bonehead” on the first and last play of the game we would be talking about the 10-1 Patriots all this week.
I’m more excited about the Packers-Cowboys game this Thursday than I was about the Pats-Colts earlier this year. I guess it’s because I think they are more evenly matched. The story for me is whether the Packers defense can stay with the Cowboys offense. T.O. and Co. should be able to run around fairly freely.
There is a “rosey” side to Eli Manning’s performance on Sunday. …Oh, who am I kidding?? No there isn’t!! That was brutal and Dad and big Brother were there to experience it. For Tom Coughlin’s sake, the Giants need to get back on track!!
Come back tomorrow for some more thoughts and mindless palaver.

1Does throwing 3 interceptions for touchdowns count against the QB rating, ….they did go for touchdowns.
As anyone noticed the right DE for the Broncos, Elvis Dumervil compare this guys stats to #1 Mario Williams.

2I can’t get past Dumervil’s name. I would assume the Manning’s count those passes as touchdowns for Eli. We’ll find out at contract time.

3Take it easy mark I had no doubts about my beloved Niners. But I will be the first to admit that it was a stupid useless game that further proved the Niners and the Cards both suck teh big one. On the lighter side Min over NYG wasn’t that big of a surprise for me. The big surprise was needing Big Ben the get a measly 10 points in my fantasy league but no…..only 6 and I get swept by the biggest shit talker in my league. Ricki Williams looked good though…..pffftt hahahahah yeah right. If it was a bong he wouldnt have dropped it.
