A Couple of Thoughts from Week 13

I guess it really was the turf in Pittsburgh a couple of weeks ago that made the Dolphins seem competitive. Man do they stink?? How is it that the Jets hang 40 on them with that offense?? Miami’s “D” is supposed to be their strength. I realize Zach Thomas is out, but Jason Taylor and Joey Porter are playing. Arent they??

Make no mistake, the Colts are still a major force in the AFC and if they meet the Patriots in the playoffs they will have a much better idea of how to beat them. I don’t know if it will happen. …I’m just sayin’!!!

The long suffering Saints fans thought they had seen every way, imaginable, to lose a football game. Holy Cow were they wrong?? I wanted to shove a screwdriver through my neck when one of the most insane play calls in NFL history was made. They just needed a first down to run out the clock- and they lose a fumble on a double reverse inside their own 40. The Buccaneers scored a touchdown and effectively ended any realistic hope of New Orleans making the playoffs. What The F#*&??

News Alert!! The Patriots are going to go 16-0. Every break. Every bounce of the ball. Every call. Everything is going right for them. The planets are aligned for crying outloud!! These are the things that you need in order to go undefeated. I don’t think the NFL has anything to do with it, but it’s like a no hitter in baseball. The longer it goes on, the bigger the strikezone gets. I don’t think the Steelers will pose as big a threat as everyone else does. They ceratainly won’t bring it like the Ravens did. After that, New England has the Jets, Dolphins, and Giants. I rest my case!!
