Chicago at Washington
Let’s start with this week’s titanic mid-week clash between the Bears and the Redskins. OK! OK! I understand “titanic” might be a bit much, but the loser of this game is absolutely done for the year. The game is being played in Washington and I’m certain the Redskins are still stinging from their loss to the Bills last week. Since the game is being played on a national stage, or as national as the NFL Network is, “Wrecks” Grossman will show up and personally kill the Bears season. 24-21 will be the score.
St. Louis at Cincinnati
I just can’t figure the Bengals. They remind me of the Saints in that they have all that talent, but can’t seem to get out of their own way. It’s been a quiet year on the police blotter, so I wonder what Marvin Lewis’ excuse is now?? Maybe, he’s just not that good a coach. The Rams aren’t as bad as their record and QB Marc Bulger will probably return to the lineup. The Rams are going to go into Cincy and punch the Bengals in the mouth. 21-17 is my guess.
Dallas at Detroit
The “smoking” hot Cowboys invade Detroit to face the “frigid” cold Lions. Nothing seems to be going right for Detroit and Tony Romo still plays for Dallas. Enough said. The Cowboys win this one, 38-17.
Oakland at Green Bay
It looks like Brett Favre will be able to go for the Packers against the Raiders this week. Raiders coach Lane Kiffin can’t decide between Culpepper and McCown at quarterback. You know how I feel about that sort of thing in week 14. It would be one thing if he was deciding between someone and Russell, but not the other two!! Oh well! No matter! The Packers will take care of business at home, 17-10.
I’ll have the rest of my 16-0 picks up tomorrow!!
