I think it’s safe to say, Bobby Petrino won’t ever coach in the NFL again. Everyone learned a lot about his character yesterday. I know it has been a terrible year in Atlanta and I realize the Michael Vick situation wasn’t his fault, but do you have to bolt with three games left on the schedule?? Arthur Blank gave this moron a $24 million deal to coach the Falcons just 8 months ago and what did he get for his money?? An indecisive “prick” who was constantly fighting with the veterans on the team. He had no credibility in his own locker room or with his coaching staff. He managed games like he was coaching in a “Pop Warner” league and… Oh wait!! This is probably the best thing that could have happened to the Falcons. They’ll eek through the rest of this putrid season, hire someone like Bill Cowher or Marty Schottenheimer and be back in the hunt in the NFC South within two years while Bobby Petrino will have to look recruits and their parents in the eyes and tell them about commitment and honesty. WOW!! I can’t believe I actually think this is funny now.
Recruiting in Arkansas and coaching in the SEC isn’t like anything this guy has ever seen before. Good luck finding a Brian Brohm on a hog farm somewhere, who wants to come to Fayetteville and get his brains beat in each week by the likes of LSU, Auburn, and Florida. I think Pig Soooey is exactly what he’ll be saying, …out of his earhole!!!

1Well done!!! I agree with the recruiting bit. Who’s worse Petrino or Saban. What’s happening to the integrity and/or loyality of the SEC coaches? Next thing you know the BCS computers will take over…

2I heard something funny yesterday. Someone said, apparently the NFL is just a stepping stone to the SEC!!! I think Petrino is worse. He left in the middle of the season. Three more weeks in the NFL wasn’t going to hurt recruiting to Arkansas. Arthur Blank said it best. “Petrino told his players to play hard all 4 quarters, but he didn’t.” Remember also, he was sitting on an airplane at Auburn a couple of years ago when they tried to stab Tuberville in the back. My favorite, though, is- at Arkansas, he signed his third “long term” contract in 18 months.
