I’m getting closer to perfection!! 14-2 in week 14. I believe I’m poised to finally reach the pinnacle of the picking world!! mmmHAHAHA!!! If you could hear me right now you’d hear that low, sinister, Dr. Evil laugh!! …Oh well, I’ll get on with it.
Denver at Houston
Miguel Tejada was traded yesterday from the Baltimore Orioles to the Houston Texans. With Ahman Green out for the year, he should help shore up Houston’s running game. What?? He was traded to the Astros?? Oh well, that does make a difference. In that case the Texans and Sage Rosenfels have little chance of hanging with the Broncos. Alright, Alright!! Just kidding!! Both teams are lucky to be 6-7 and they are both one loss away from totally imploding. I’m going to go out on a pretty shaky limb and take the Texans at home even though they are wearing all red tonight!! Ughh!!
Cincinnati at San Francisco
Saturday night we get the NFL’s version of college football when the Bengals travel to the left coast to face the 49ers. On the news that 9ers QB Alex Smith is taking shots at his head coach in the media, it’s hard not to watch this team with some level of sadistic glee. Having said that, the Bengals have been one of the biggest disapointments of 2007. If I have to pick a winner in this game, I’ll call on Carson Palmer to lift his team up and win it on the road. 24-10.
New York Jets at New England
ESPN’s Mike Greenberg has been saying all week that the point spread in this game should realistically be 49 1/2. He has picked the Patriots to win 63-13. Of course, we all know that if Bill Belichick was going to run the score up on any team it would be the Jets. I don’t think it will quite be 50, however, but it will be close. I’ll take the Pats, 44-10.
Baltimore at Miami
This is “hands down” the biggest waste of time of week 15. Can you imagine having to sit through this game?? I truelly think the Ravens will beat the Dolphins 7-0 when Baltimore runs back a blocked field goal for a touchdown. Other than that, I can’t see either team scoring.
Buffalo at Cleveland
The Bills at the Browns is one of the more intriguing games of the week for me. It reminds me of a mid major college game in that neither team is elite, but they are both surprisingly good. Both of these teams should be proud that they are playing a game in December that has playoff implications. My gut feeling is the Browns will play well at home and win this slugfest, 23-21.
Tennessee at Kansas City
I realize that Arrowhead Stadium is one of the best home venues in the NFL, but the Chiefs are so bad that I just can’t pick them to beat any team that isn’t the Dolphins. The Titans will rebound from their beat down, last week, at the hands of the Broncos to win here, 24-10.
Atlanta at Tampa Bay
I can’t bring myself to dump on the Falcons this week, so I’ll take the high road here and just say the Buccaneers will roll to a 31-17 win at home.
Green Bay at St. Louis
I can, however, dump on the Rams!! I got sucked into thinking they weren’t as bad as their record indicates. Yeah!! Whatever!! They really do stink!! The Packers don’t stink, at least not completely, so I’ll take them to beat the crap out of the Rams in the St’ Louis,…dome,…thing, 27-13.
Well, that’s it for the first half of my picks this week. I’ll leave you to digest that heaping helping of foosball knowledge. Notice the “Waterboy” reference?? I’m just sooo clever!! Anyway, come back tomorrow. OK, …Please!!

2I always wanted to play foosball. But I could never do backflips. Not to mention multiple and simultaniously with two other guys!
