A Short Look at Week 15

How anyone ever places a bet on professional football is beyond me. If someone with my obvious football acumen goes 10-6 everyone else must be losing millions. No wonder Vegas has those big buidings with their fruity fountains out front.

The Vikings aren’t a playoff team. They showed this on Monday night. As I said last week, QB Tarvaris Jackson will kill them as the games get more meaningful.

The Bengals are on the verge of totally imploding. They need to be blown up and re-built from the ground up. If they keep head coach Marvin Lewis, they need to get rid of everyone else. Carson Palmer looks like he’s done with the idiots around him.

Brian Westbrook taking a knee at the one yard line is one of smartest plays you’ll see this year. Everyone is talking about how unselfish he was, but the “O” lineman John Runyan is the one who told him to do it. “But Brian Westbrook had to actually do it. He’s so great!!” everyone says. C’mon, let’s be honest. If Runyan hadn’t said anything, he would have scored the TD and we wouldn’t be talking about this.
