Can we please get off Jeff Fisher’s butt over “Manning Jerseygate”?? It was for charity people!! He was trying to be funny!!! The only thing he’s guilty of is using bad judgement. He was introducing the former coach of the Colts for crying out loud!! Did I mention, it was at a charity function??? Sheesh!!!! Anyway, …On With The Picks!!

Arizona at The New York Football Giants

It will be interesting to see if the Cardinals learned anything from the Saints butt kicking of the Giants last week. Kurt Warner is still a good quarterback and the Giants showed that they may not be as good, defensively, as everyone thought. I get that the Giants secondary is banged up, but this is the NFL!! The back-ups have to step up!! Having said all that, I think the Giants will bounce back at home and barely get by the Cards in a tough, low scoring affair. Wow, I almost sounded like a writer there!!

Atlanta at Dallas

This is one of the harder games of the week to pick. I’m really not sold on either of these teams. I think they are both somewhere in the middle of the NFC hierarchy. Maybe this game will induce a statement of some sort from one of them. We all know the Cowboys have a ton of talent and no coaching. The Falcons are definitely on the up swing with good talent and very good coaching. I see the Falcons going into Jerry’s Pleasure Palace and taking this win, thus putting one more nail in Wade Phillip’s grave!!

Buffalo at Carolina

In a battle of underachievers and coaches looking over their shoulders, this game is likely to be a snoozer!! The Panther’s offense is in disarray and the Bills don’t know whether to scratch their watch or wind their butt!! If I have to pick a winner here, I’ll take Carolina at home.

Chicago at Cincinnati

Before the year began, who would have thought these two would be any good?? I’m not really saying that the Cincinnati Ochocincos are good, they just aren’t as bad as we all thought they would be. The Bears, on the other hand, are good even with Jay Cutler under center. Let me just take this opportunity to voice my opinion on Mr. Whiney Baby of the Year. Can you voice something in print?? Anyway, he seems like a huge jerk and he hasn’t done anything at the professional level. In fact, what the hell did he do at the college level?? The Bears will find a way to escape The Queen City with a win.

Green Bay at Cleveland

Mangenius huh?? Really?? The Browns have no chance against the Packers, even at home. Aaron Rodgers is getting better all the time and whoever the Browns run out there isn’t. Enough said!!! I’ll take the Pack by a bunch.

San Francisco at Houston

A strong 49er team invades Reliant Stadium in Houston Sunday. The Texans are still way too inconsistent for me, but showed what they are capable of last week. I can’t help feeling that San Fran’s defense will just prove too tough for the Texans on this day. It will be a war, but the bunch from out west will take it!!

Indianapolis at St. Louis

Oh Man!!! The hapless Rams get the Colts after a bye week!!!! I don’t even know where to start!! I don’t see the need to kick a dead horse, so I will just say that the Colts are going to win by double digits!! I know, that is the hard hitting, on the edge, information that you’ve become accustomed too.
