Well I’m getting back into the swing of things. Training camps are in full swing and there are idiots in most of them!!!! I mean Brett “I’m gonna hold the world hostage” Favre, Dez “I’m not gonna carry anyone’s pads” Bryant, and Albert “I make $100 Million and I don’t have to do crap to earn it” Haynesworth!!! Maybe I’m just getting older and more cynical, but these things seem to piss me off more than they used too. ARE YOU KIDDING ME????

We all knew what Brett Favre was going to do. I guess the media is as much to blame as anyone. This week when it was reported he was retiring, the story was broken by highly respected reporters from multiple outlets. Then Favre says he never said or texted anyone about his future!! In my book, someone is LYING!!! Is it the reporters who are tired of hanging out at Oak Grove High School or is the idiot that likes the spotlight as much as a Vegas Showgirl????

Where do I start with Dez Bryant?? Who in the hell is advising this kid?? First he has dinner with Deion Sanders and lies about it to investigators after having done nothing wrong and now refuses to carry the pads of a veteran player at Training Camp!! Now I’m not big on hazing, but as far as it goes, this is an easy one!!! Will someone please explain to Mr. Bryant that football is not an individual sport and it takes a TEAM to win Super Bowls!! Hazing isn’t about humiliation and degradation of the young players, it’s about camaraderie and TEAM building!!!! In a very loose sense of the phrase, these men are going to war together and they need to know what to expect from the unproven men among them. So Mr. Bryant, I think it’s safe to say you have failed your first test as a Dallas Cowboy!!!!

And that brings me to Albert Haynesworth!!! In my opinion the most despicable type of human being on the planet!! His agent negotiated the richest contract EVER for a D lineman (over $100 Million) and because the new head coach has changed the defensive scheme, he has decided that he doesn’t want to play!!! I believe this is the adult version of taking my ball and going home!! Now some of you will say his knee hurts, but he showed up to camp overweight and out of shape and he didn’t participate in any off-season training programs with the team. I have absolutely NO sympathy for this guy and no one else should either!!!
